Vintage Victorian Cranberry Milk Glass Oil Lamp Double Burner
A beautiful vintage late Victorian English oil lamp made by Wright and Butler of Birmingham. The lamp is in good working order. The cranberry milk glass font is shaded from a deep cranberry to a pale pink. The font has scroll decoration. There are a couple of what I can only describe bubble like imperfections in the glass font, these look as if they are manufacturing imperfections(please see last 2 pictures). There are no chips or cracks.
The lamp stands on a reeded brass column rising from a graduated round foot set upon a ceramic black base. The brass has some age related wear.
The base is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The lamp has a double burner marked Wright and Butler Birmingham that is in working order and a clear glass chimney with no chips or cracks.
