Vintage'Evered & Company Ltd', Silver Plated Oil Lamp And Base-Stunning

For sale-a vintage'Evered & Company Ltd', silver plated oil lamp burner and highly ornate base. The piece appears to be a'collaboration' between'Evered' , and,'Walker & Hall', a renowned English silversmiths founded in the mid 19th century. The burner bares all the relevant'Evered' markings including the serial number'RD 141682'. The piece was originally a wedding gift, the inscriptions are clearly illustrated and date to 1893. Included also are a clear glass chimney and, cranberry type, frosted, floral pattern globe.

The lamp stands 43cm tall (63cm with chimney), weight is approximately 2.5kg. There are some small areas of'Plate' wear in one or two locations, and, a mark/scratch around the lower section where the main body tapers to the base.
