Victorian Moulded Graduated Blue Glass Oil Lamp Font, Ribbed Decoration
SUPERB VICTORIAN GRADUATED TURQUOISE BLUE MOULDED GLASS OIL LAMP FONT This very decorative oil lamp font stands approximately 15.4cm tall from the base of the undermount to the top of the brass ring. The diameter is approximately 16cm at its widest point. It is in overall very good condition and finished with a brass fitter with an internal screw fixing, the internal diameter is 3.9cm.
The brass undermount measures 23mm across the threads. In a beautiful shaded colourway from a very pale tone of turquoise at the undermount to a rich turquoise at the collar, decorated with layers of heavily moulded ribs, best appreciated through the many photographs.
