Antique 1880's Victorian oil or kerosene lamp. This is another lamp from my personal collection. See and enlarge the photos for more information as they are a large part of the description.
If you need any additional photos of any part feel free to message. The lamp is in excellent working condition with no chips cracks or repairs to any of the glass or brass parts. The bottom marble base is chip free.
Assembled the lamp is 16 tall to the top of the shade. The burner is marked the Victor The P & A MFG Co. Which is Plume and Atwood. If your going to be using it frequently you may want to get a new #6 kosmos wick to replace the one it has now.The shade holder is removable and rests tightly on the burner. Then shade holder ring is kosmos interchangeable. The chimney is a #6 Kosmos and is 6 3/4" tall with a 1 3/8" fitter. The shade is 4 5/8 tall. Has a 2 5/8" straight fitter and is about 4 3/5" wide at the center.
At the top top there is a brass ring attached to the shade and is approximately 2 wide. Base is 10 tall to the top of the collar. Painted font is about 4 3/4 in diameter.
