Victorian Lge Brass Oil Lamp Base, Square Based Mask Decoration To Square Column
STUNNING VICTORIAN POLISHED BRASS OIL LAMP BASE This beautiful base stands on a slim square base measuring 18.1cm in diameter. The square reeded column rises up from a large circular mount with a fluted lobe edged embossed decoration. The bottom of the reeded column has a plain mount on which is mounted a mask to each face featuring alternately a lion and womans face with decorative head dress. The top of the column has another plain collar, on which sits the flat frame which contains the top screw mount with an internal measurement of 22mm across the threads.
