SUPERB VICTORIAN HAND HELD FINGER OIL LAMP This beautiful oil lamp has a vertical slab cut to the circumference of the cranberry glass font with a stepped top. The font has a waist just above the base.

The Queen Anne single wick burner has'British Made' embossed to the brass wick winder and comes with a chimney. The font is in overall good condition, please see condition report for details. A clear glass handle incorporated into the font and smaller proportions made this oil lamp easy for carrying from room to room. The lamp stands approximately 26.8cm high to the top of the chimney. It measures approxmately 10cm in diameter at its widest point, excluding the handle. The base displays table wear to the underside and i believe this lamp dates from the mid to late 19th century. Overall in good condition please see condition report and just the usual bubbles and imperfections associated with the manufacturing process of this type of glass, this would make a stunning addition to any collection or a prestigious accessory in your home.
