Top and bottom globes light. Original globes feature hand painted white and red peonies against merging colors of, at the top third, green, at middle third, white, and at bottom third, burnt umber. The burner appears to be made by SCOVILL MFG. As indicated by the words on the lamps thumb wheel that were typically used by Scovill.

The words are: MADE IN AMERICA USA. Founded in 1844, Scovill had a record number of lighting patents through out the century.
