VICTORIAN DUPLEX CRANBERRY GLASS & BRASS CORINTHIAN COLUMN OIL LAMP c1870's

Here we have a Beautiful Fine Quality Victorian Oil Lamp by Duplexc 1870's which was my mother in laws, It has a Brass Corinthian Column with Cranberry Vaseline Glass Font and a beautifully etched Art Nouveau Cranberry Glass Shade. It is in lovely condition though there is a chip on the top rim of the glass shade (see photographs) which I have never really noticed before and I have had it for years, possible that it may be able to be ground down if you know who does it, and if you feel it necessary and there are a few small fleabites / nibbles on the base of the shade which of course you cannot see anyway. Over all a fabulous lamp which looks absolutely glorious in any home.

It is approximately 26.5 (Inches) in height, I have never used it and I never seen my mother in law use it, even though there is a wick, so not entirely sure if it has ever been used in over 60 years.
