Victorian Candy Stripe Vaseline Uranium Glass Oil Lamp, Cherub Angel base [GSP]. A beautiful and very unusual Victorian era Candy stripe Vaseline Uranium Glass Font Oil Lamp. The Vaseline glass illuminates beautifully under a UV light. Overall the lamp is in very good vintage condition. It has a cast iron base with a surround of Cherub Angels.
Attached to the cast iron base by a brass joint is a Vaseline uranium candy stripe glass font. This is overall in very good condition. The lamp has a Young's Victoria burner that takes a 1 ΒΌ inch wick. The burner is in very good working condition. The lamp is topped with an unusual clear glass chimney.
The clear glass chimney is in good condition except for the very top where is it a little rough (please see last photograph). Dimensions - The lamp is 55cm tall and the base has a diameter of 18.5cm.
