Victorian acid etched cranberry glass oil lamp shade, 4 inch fitter

A lovely cranberry glass oil lamp shade from the late Victorian era. The shade is in great condition and is acid etched with an attractive floral design. Height 16cm Diameter at top 20cm Internal diameter of base 9.3cm. There are some inclusions at the base of the shade which can be seen in photo 8 and there is a very thin glass line at the base (photo 9). Both of these characteristics were formed during the hand blown manufacture of the shade. The photos show what a lovely shade this really is. This sale is for the shade only.
