Superb Onyx & Gilt Decorated Cast Base Oil Lamp Column, 30cm Tall
SUPERB ONYX & GILT DECORATED CAST BASE OIL LAMP COLUMN, 30CM TALL. SUPERB ONYX AND GILT DECORATED CAST OIL LAMP BASE This prestigious oil lamp base has a decorative cast square base which has a solid chamfered onyx square plinth, on which sits the pedestal decorative mount that supports the matching onyx obelisk style column. This is finished by a decorative capitol which houses the screw fixing for an oil lamp font.
The screw fixing has an internal apperture of 22mm. The oil lamp column stands 30cm tall and measures 18.3cm square at the widest point of the base which rests on four decorative stylised fish feet. Overall very good condition some marks to the onyx and dullness to the gilding commensurate with age and use.
A few tiny chips and fleabites to the edges of the onyx, in no way distracting but mentioned for accuracy.
