Stunning Victorian Duplex Opaline Glass Oil Lamp & Etched Glass Shade

Offering for sale this beautiful Victorian opaline glass oil lamp which is of lobed form and enamel decorated with panels of flowers & foliage. It is raised upon a black plinth base and is fitted with a Duplex burner and has a genuine Victorian floral etched glass lamp shade. The overall height from the base to the top of the chimney is 27 inches. On close inspection there is a small'blister' on one side of the lamp shade which has occurred during manufacture and there is some wear to the gilt work on the lamp itself but the overall condition is excellent with no obvious chips and there are no cracks, repairs or restoration.
