Ruby Red/Cranberry Triple Faceted Cut Glass Oil Lamp Font / Fount Bayonet Collar
Ruby Red / Cranberry Triple Faceted Cut Glass Oil Lamp Font / Fount, Bayonet Collar. A good quality ruby red/cranberry glass font with two thins rows of cut facets around a larger row. The undermount has a 23mm screw fit (No 10 size - the more common larger size). Probably dates to the late 19th or early 20th century.

Condition: In a good used condition, there is a small shallow chip to the underside edge (5mm wide) of the bottom rim and a smaller one to the underside edge of the top rim directly above. Other very tiny nicks to the edges in places.
There is some very light scratching from use in places. Brass work is unpolished and tarnished.
Typical small air bubbles in the glass along with the odd impurity. Size: 14.5cm high, 16cm widest diameter.
