This lamp dates to the turn of the century and is in great original condition. The decoration shows birds insects and berries and signals the early beginnings of the art nouveau movement. This lamp is attributed to the hand of the renowned and highly collectable artist Florence Barlow. Both the chimney and shade are in good order only showing a few nibbles at the contact edges as to be expected from a hundred odd year old antique.
The Base is in immaculate condition with no damage whatsoever. The oil burner is the original Hinks's patent Duplex and is in good order, however slightly wonky and has 1 coronet piece missing (this doesn't affect the lamp at all).
