Here we have an original, Victorian, green tinted, stencil-etched pair of upright gas mantle lamp shades. The shade may suit peg lamps or other smaller oil lamps. The shades are likely from around c1890-c1900, they arrived with a collection of mostly gas shades.

The glass is tinted green at the top and stencil etched in an Art Nouveau/Jugendstil pattern. Dimensions; The shades stand around 6 1/4" tall, 2 5/8" fitting. Condition; excellent, expect fleabites to rough-cut fitting-rim, tiny etching/manufacturing flaws bubbles, grit specs etc... , one point on the frill of one shade, has the tiniest of fleabites mentioned for accuracy but it's near invisible, other than that, nothing detracting, see images. Overall, a useful and beautiful pair of old shades!!
