The porcelain base is attached to the brass base; then with a covering; so I cannot see if there's a base factory mark. (However I've seen Duplex use bases from various factories which may have already been antique pieces prior to the conversion to a lamp) I cannot find anything similar. Meissen and Derby also made pieces with hand-painted cartouches and applied flowers. Base stands 12 inches tall (30cm) including the base plinth and brass fitting.
In overall very good antique condition. There may be a few tiny flea-bite nibbles to the applied flowers; but no obvious missing heads. Both cartouches are very good. There's no missing embossed'beads' but there is rub wear to the gold gilded beading around the cartouches; likely from cleaning.
