Majolica Antique German Oil Lamp Pottey Glass Font Metal Enamel base Ruby Shade

Offering nother nice antique Victoria German oil lamp from my personal collection. Listing the lamps I have managed to collect more than one of over the years. There are no chips cracks or repairs to any of the glass parts on this lamp. This is a nice rare Majolica oil or Kerosene lamp. The lamp is in very good to excellent working condition.

There are words and numbers on the collar (20' MATADOR BRENNER) The burner does raise and lower the wich easily. The shade holder holds up to a 4# fitter. The flame spreader is marked (20' Jdealbrenner) The wick is old but still in good useable condition. The base that holds the font is metal with a weighted base. It has enamel baked in glaze. The font insert has a pottery top with glazed finish and a glass reservoir. The lamp assembled is 17 3/4 tall to the top of the shade.

The shade is 6 1/2" high and 6 1/4" wide. The fitter is 3 7/8" The base font is approximately 9 5/8" to the top of the collar, approximately 5 1/2" wide at the bulge and 5 7/8" across the base. The Chimney is 9 7/8" tall with a 1 1/2" fitter the chimney is standard size and type but originally came with a MATADOR chimney. I WAS ABLE TO FIND AND REPLACE THE STANDARD CHIMNEY WITH AN ORIGINAL MATADOR CHIMNEY AND USED IT IN THE LAST TWO PHOTOS WHER THE LAMP IS LIT.
