Large silver plate oil lamp with cut glass font and Hinks Burner silver plate

A lovely large silver plate oil lamp. The capital on the base is very. Beautifully engraved with an engraved plinth base. The centre is a smooth silver plate column all in lovely condition apart from a natural fault on the top , an oval piece of i would suspect plating missing. This measures 19mm x 7 mm and is completely smooth.

The base of the column has some reeded design and just under the capital is swags and tassels. The cut glass font is perfect, some loss of plating to the font fitter which measures. Font width 16.4 cm and this has a silver plate bayonet collar stamped Messengers. Burner has a very unusual maybe Bakelite wick snuffer and key riser all working , Wick winders stamped Hinks no: 2.
