Interesting Victorian Oil Lamp. Brass & Porcelain. Possibly Microscope Related
Here I have a Very Interesting and Stunning Early Antique Victorian Oil Lamp. Within its Original Brass Handled Collectors Wooden Cabinet. This is NOT my Expert Subject BUT I feel that this Particular Piece is possibly Microscopic / Microscope Related? It is mainly of Brass Construction with a slightly damaged / Chipped Porcelain Chimney Cover. Interestingly its Inner Glass Burner Tube is completely Intact. With adjustable height telescopic Stem etc. It is I hope easily identifiable ie Age / Makers etc by its Unusual Logo to the Porcelain Cover: It is Stamped with a Red Coloured Logo as follows.' Rd IV 20 5 D W''.... I would be interested to receive any remarks or comments from the Experts out There as to exactly what this Lamp was Originally Used For! All together weighs 3 1/4 Kilos Unpacked. So you may well find yourself with a True Bargain! The item "Interesting Victorian Oil Lamp. Possibly Microscope Related" is in sale since Saturday, February 18, 2017. This item is in the category "Antiques\Antique Furniture\Lamps\Victorian (1837-1901)".
