Grand Victorian French Spelter Lady Figurine with Horn Carrying Oil Lamp. This is a beautiful rare French figural spelter lamp depicting a lady with horn carrying a decorative oil lamp. The figurine is mounted on a wooden base which has a tag reading Renommee Par delavigne (sculpt).

The figurine is stood on a rock with has a scorpion and what looks like a set of scales astrological symbols?? The glass is hand painted with a pretty purple and green floral design. The chimney is clear glass in brass fitting and is free from chips or cracks. We believe the lamp dates back to between 1890 and 1920 making it late Victorian. The approximate measurements are Height 85 cm. Diameter of Base 15 cm. Approximate weight 2.2 KG. The lamp is in excellent antique condition with marks and patina associated with an item of its age.

All the glass is complete and free from cracks or chips. This is a truly impressive piece and would enhance any interior decor adding a touch of French Elegance.
