KEROSENE OIL LAMP SHADE - USA. This listing is for the SHADE ONLY. Are to peak your imagination and/or display purpose. The ancillaries are not part of this listing. This shade is in excellent condition - no chips cracks scuffs etc. The fire polished rim is immaculate whilst the slanted fitter rim has the usual flea bites and a flake. The colour graduates from clear at the fitter to a deep strong pink at the top. The glass itself does have some manufacturers imperfections by way of the usual air bubbles and a couple of swirls which are commensurate with glass of this age. And almost impossible to see due to the etching. The etching is very fine and consistent completely covering the shade with tiny flowers and foliage reminding me of chintz or lace. Because of the shape of this shade it can be sat on the gallery several different ways giving completely different visuals. One can achieve a variation of 1 in diameter between the widest and narrowest dimensions at the top by simply rotating this shade.
