Fabulous Antique Heavily Embossed Brass Duplex Oil Lamp, Cranberry Drop In Font

FABULOUS HEAVILY EMBOSSED OIL LAMP BASE WITH CRANBERRY DROP IN FONT. This very decorative oil lamp stands 45.5cm tall to the top of the duplex burner. It has a base diameter of 20.5cm at its widest point. The heavily decorated statuesque base is typically Art Nouveau in its decoration and is best appreciated in the photographs.

The bottom of the hexagonal base has been covered in green baise to protect furniture. The pierced basket allows the beautifully cranberry glass of the font to show through.

The font is attached to the gadrooned brass mount which forms the top of the oil lamp and has a top filler cap incorporated. The duplex burner has black enamel winders, with British Made to the circumference. The burner comes with a wick. A truly spectacular lamp best appreciated through the may photographs.
