A SPECTACULAR AND EXTREMELY RARE JAMES HINKS VICTORIAN DUPLEX OIL LAMP(TWIN BURNERS) C1875. THE FIGURINE IS LAMPETIA THE GRECIAN GODDESS OF LIGHT WHO IS DEPICTED WITH HER ARMS UPSTRETCHED SUPPORTING. THE FACETED GLASS FONT AND GRADUATED GREEN GLASS LAMP SHADE ABOVE HER HEAD.

THE LAMP IS MOUNTED ON A WHITE VEINED BLACK MARQUINA STEPPED MARBLE BASE. A VERY BEAUTIFUL STAND ALONE DISPLAY PIECE. CONDITION : SUPERB, OVERALL ANTIQUE CONDITION WITH NO DAMAGE. DIMENSIONS : HEIGHT 78.0 CM DIAMETER 20.0 CM (30.75" x 8").
