Evered & Co. Ltd. Silver Plated Corinthian Column Oil Lamp

Silver Plated Corinthian Column Oil Lamp A lovely quality oil lamp. The oil lamp is mounted on a silver plated Corinthian style column. The font is made from glass, the collar is made by Hinks & Sons Patent, this is stamped on the collar. The burner and shade holder is made by Evered & Co. Patnet, this is stamped on both items, and both pieces are made from silver.

The chimney is vase shaped and the student shade is bowl shaped with floral patterns. Dimensions The lamp has a base width of 6.5 inches (16.5cm). The total height is 35 inches (89cm). It weighs 5.73 Kg.

Condition The piece is in very nice condition. The silver plating has some slight pitting and is worn is some places revealing the brass underneath.

There are minor scratches but it holds up a good finish. The glass chimney is intact with no cracks or chips.
