EARLY 1800s HAND BLOWN WHALE OIL LAMP 2 PRONG BURNER BOSTON & SANDWICH GLASS

This is a rare early Boston & Sandwich glass whale oil lamp from the early 1800s with its original pewter two prong burner with cork seal! Free blown elongated round font with pressed stair step platform hollow base attached to font with 3 ring glass wafer...

Rough snapped off pontil scar up inside the base... Excellent shiny nice condition with only some small shallow flakes on very bottom surface of base; also a sliver flake on corner side of base. A nice clean lamp with no haze.

The original cork seal around the pewter burner is chipped but is still firm inside the glass collar of font. We are thinning out the herd as we go through boxes of 50 years of digging...
