This is a scarce 4 column Corinthian oil lamp, quality and condition is lovely. The column base is largely cast brass with fine detail to columns. Its very straight and no damage or scratching, It hasn't been cleaned or polished for many years , though there is minor residue of Brasso or similar metal polish!
The base is appx 12" tall and appx 5.5" square. The cut glass font is 6 in diameter and in excellent condition. The bayonet fit burner is marked best British make to adjuster knobs, the burner is ok but the top of the burner is damaged between the wicks. This part is replaceable , if you can find one. There is a chimney with the lamp but no shade. I don't know who made the lamp but the quality is impressive (the under mount & font screw are similar to Hinks ones) Your knowledge is likely better than mine! Its appx 19.5 tall to burner gallery and quite heavy. Let me know if you need better photos. Worldwide buyers welcome but please ask for postal costs.
