Antique Rare Coalport Banquet Oil Lamp CHICAGO EXHIBITION Circa 1893 63cm H. Item: A truly stunning, 63.5cm tall, five chamber porcelain Coalport oil lamp beautifully decorated with rococo period design, Agate jewels and rich gold gildings. This piece has been expertly made to the highest level to be exhibited at the Chicago Exhibition in 1893, complete with Chicago Exhibition gold back stamp. The lamp is made in five separated chambers which are fixed with a metal screw rod, the upper chamber bowl screws in place. Fully stamped to the base as shown. 63.5 cm, 635 mm. Condition Report: Excellent condition- there has been professional restoration to parts of the lamp. There are some common age old light stress lines in areas. These are minor and do not affect the piece.

It comes with a glass chimney but is not original to the piece. Stunning piece and very large.
