Chesapeake Pottery Victorian Aesthetic Movement Porcelain Pottery Oil Lamp MINT

A 19th Century American Aesthetic Movement Porcelain Pottery Oil Lamp. Further, it was a line called Severn Ware and probably named after the Severn River which is here in Maryland. Strike my MINT note in the title as I only intend to emphasize that this is in completely unaltered and all original condition. This oil lamp is in an as manufactured state. The only condition issue to note is the fact that the reservoir has a hole in the bottom as a result of corrosion and should not be confused with an electrical drill hole (see last image below).

There are no cracks, no chips, and no repairs. Again, all original and very pristine. Overall height measures 15" tall with a diameter of 7 1/2" at its widest. Note the ladies heads on the brass finished cast iron base. Check out my other items.
