HERE IS A WONDERFUL DATED "FEB 9, 1886" RETRACTABLE GLASS JEWEL FACETED LAMP FIXTURE. PHOTOS DON'T DO THIS ONE JUSTICE. THIS FIXTURE HAS A 28 INCH DROP.

WE DO NOT HAVE THE GLASS FONT AT THIS POINT BUT WE ACQUIRED AN EXTENSIVE LAMP COLLECTION AND ARE STILL SORTING THROUGH IT. THE PULL DOWN OPENING WHEN RETRACTING TO ACCESS THE FONT MEASURES 4 INCHES IN DIAMETER. THIS RETRACTABLE FIXTURE IS ALL BRASS AND IN GREAT CONDITION. THE JEWELED GLOBE MEASURES 8 1/2 INCHES IN DIAMETER. THE TOP PORTION (CANOPY) WITH THE THREE PULLEYS AT THE TOP MEASURES 6 1/4 INCHES WHICH WOULD BE NEAR THE CEILING.

THIS ONE WOULD LOOK FANTASTIC WITH JUST A SOFT BULB IN IT. IF WE GET A CHANCE WE WILL ADD PHOTOS.
