Beautiful Victorian Quality Lemon /yellow Duplex Hinks Oil Lamp Shade

This beautiful original Victorian oil lamp shade is in excellent condition for its age, and dates from the late 19th century. It does have a few very very small ships of the flat edge but otherwise is in great shape.

It features a lovely lemon yellow (photos don't quite show true colour) fading to clear around the base edge. It is shaped around the top and has stunning acid etched floral design featuring orchids and daisies (see photos). Diameter of flat base edge - 4. Diameter at top opening - 8.
