A Baccarat, Art Nouveau, "Pate de Verre" Duplex fit, oil lamp shade. The shade measures 6.25" high, over 7" wide and is a 4 gallery/shade carrier fit. The top opening is a strange square shape. This is a bespoke item made in Baccarat for a wealthy customer requiring that "something special" in their home and a talking point for the invited.

This item is entirely hand crafted and made of two layers of heavy crystal. The top layer of jade green(replicating that of onyx) has been meticulously removed leaving the design in 3D and sitting over 1mm in relief. It is a rare and fabulous shade, totally unique in shape and design, representing many hours of very skilled labour. This shade is part of a private collection and only offered for sale due to downsizing.
