Antique Vintage Victorian Ornate Brass Double Oil Lamp

ANTIQUE VINTAGE VICTORIAN ORNATE BRASS DOUBLE OIL LAMP. This is a fabulous example - very striking. It's in good overall condition but I need to note the following. The underside of the oil reservoir's show some dents - see photo and when checking this we noticed that the burners do not match each other - one is a duplex burner and the other one isn't marked.

The burner that isn't marked does t seem to work properly when you turn one of the dials it It doesn't raise and lower the wick like it should do - so that burner will need attention - either repaired or maybe it would be better to replace so that they both match. Width across the arms is 41cm. It's quite a large size with the central brass post measuring 64cm / 25 inches tall. The arms can be raised and lowered so you can have it with the arms either raised high or down low. I like it in the position I have photographed.

In this position it measures 30 from base to top of glass chimneys. If you set the arms higher it would be even taller. It did clean the brass a little - but it could polish up a lot higher if desired.
