The base has a screw-fit top. The teal glass font is vertically ribbed and has a brass screw-fit collar.
NB the colour of the font in the pictures looks blue but is actually a dark turquoise/teal. The lamp is fitted with a duplex "Made in England" burner (some wick remaining) and 4 gallery which holds an anchor brand fireproof chimney.
The lampshade is a simple globular shape but is extremely unusual in that it is pearlised and has a protective brass band fitted to the top. I believe this shade to be an antique rarity and not a run-of the mill contemporary shade. All components are in good condition however, the chimney has an air bubble as pictured.
