2 DUPLEX TWIN BURNER CRANBERRY GLASS OIL LAMP. This superb oil lamp dates from around the 1880s. It has a Hinks No. 2 Duplex twin burner, which appears to be in good working order.
The oil lamp has a lovely cut cranberry glass reservoir and an etched cranberry glass shade. It retains a clear glass chimney.
The lamp has a decorative brass column mounted on a heavy dark glass base. Condition: Overall in excellent condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The piece is overall a little grubby and the brassware is tarnished and would benefit from being polished. The glass parts have some small manufacturing defects as might be expected. The chimney and shade have some slight nibbling around the lower rims.Viewing is welcome by appointment at our premises, postcode OX15 6EP. The item "ANTIQUE VICTORIAN HINKS NO.
