Antique Victorian Hinks Brass and Glass Oil Lamp

A stunning Hinks oil lamp in excellent condition. The brass if free of dents and scratches and the glass font has no chips or cracks. The lamp stands 58 cm tall to the top of the chimney, 46.5 cm to the top of the shade, and 35 cm to the top of the burner. The Hinks burner is in great condition and has been thoroughly cleaned and fitted with new wicks and cork gasket. The Hinks collar has also been fitted with a new gasket. The brass base is also stamped Hinks and measures 16 cm in diameter. The cast iron base has been cleaned and freed from any rust.

The acid etched shade appears to be later in age and has no chips or cracks. It measures 23 cm in diameter across the top rim, 10 cm (approximately 4 inches) across the fitter rim, and stands 15 cm in height. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
