Antique Victorian GWTW Gone With The Wind Blue/Pink Floral Oil Lamp Electrified
This is an original antique (late 19th century) Gone with the Wind style oil lamp with original glass globe and base in blue and white with hand painted pink, fuchsia, and green flower pattern on both front and back. The lamp has been electrified and has a newer gold cord with an old pull-chain socket on top. It was tested and is working. The socket uses a standard bulb but only a narrower bulb will fit into the glass chimney (a flame shaped bulb or a narrower CFL bulb, as shown in the photos). The pull-chain is somewhat difficult to operate as the chimney rests on top of it, with the chimney lifted a bit, the chain can be pulled a little easier.

The lamp is in excellent condition and is sturdy, solid, and functional. There is no obvious damage to either glass piece and no cracks or repairs in the cast iron base, but there is a tiny Y shaped crack in the small brass collar around the top of the base (only cosmetic; does not affect the integrity of the lamp). The metal pieces have not been polished and have all acquired a darkened, aged patina. The bottom of the base is marked P. The lamp measures about 23" tall, including the chimney, and the glass on the base and globe both measure about 10" in diameter.
