Antique Victorian French Table Oil Lamp Cranberry Enameled Glass Empire Tripod. A stunning table oil lamp, made in the 19th century.
The oil lamp has a beautiful cranberry pink/red font with hand painted enamel decorations. It is mounted on a gilt bronze/ormolu tripod stand. It comes with its burner and chimney glass, but you will need to add a wick if you want to use it. Height lamp, with chimney glass: about 17 1/2 inch / 44.5 cm. Height lamp, without chimney glass: about 9 3/4 inch / 25 cm.
Good antique condition, the glass font is in good order, some minimal wear to the enameled decorations and some wear and patina to the brass and bronze parts, chimney in good order, the burner wheel turns properly, see the photos.
