ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU VICTORIAN ENGLISH OIL LAMP HP ENAMELED FONT DUPEX BURNER ART GLASS SHADE. This listing is for a really attractive and well looked after. The rapousse brass is in graduated ridge form. Hand blown pale green opaque glass with enamelled floral embellishments. On close inspection the roses and other daisy like flowers are two tone with red and white enamels.
Very difficult to achieve with such precision. These are in panels in the form of hearts with curvaceous enamel piped outlining.
The shade is frosted acid etched clear to make a lacy effect, with graduated green top wavy edge. A great item for special gifts for anniversary, weddings and the like. CONDITION: Excellent condition commensurate with age... The glass chimney flue pipe is undamaged as is the blown glass reservoir.
The lamp is in working order with no losses of attachments. There are some scratch marks from use on the upper side of the base. The base is numbered 14 with a 9 separate.If anyone knows what this means I would love to know!! If you need more photos or information please message me..
