Antique Victorian Brass Duplex Oil Lamp with Pink Hand Painted Font Etched Shade

Here we have a beautiful antique Victorian brass duplex oil lamp made in England. The brass base features 3D sea shell type designs and has fantastic patina. The font is a very pretty dark to light pink opaque glass with hand painted floral designs.

Comes complete with glass chimney and an acid etched glass globe shade. In excellent condition overall for the age, there are some very minor nibbles to the lower rim of the glass shade where it rests on the brass which is quite normal and cannot be seen when assembled. No proper chips or cracks. There is some minor wear to the hand painted design. The brass has a lovely aged look / patina but could easily be polished up to a shiny brass finish if desired. The glue around the base of the font that connects to the brass is a bit aged. Please see photos as they form part of the description.
