ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ARTS & CRAFTS BRASS RISE & FALL STANDARD FLOOR OIL LAMP c1890

A wonderful Arts & Crafts / Art Nouveau Brass Standard Lamp, with wonderful tripod base and column. This is offered in completely my unrestored condition. It's been converted to electricity at some point but wire cut to base. I have not cleaned the brass, will polish up a lot brighter but that's personal choice so I've left'as is'. It does not extend at present but that will be an easy fix.

CONDITION is for restoration, overall for its age is good, there are of course the usual age related scratches and marks. There will be some small dents. SIZE (cm) 156 high as shown x 50 wide at base. The older pieces of furniture are better made, normally by craftsmen and not machines, have more character & if looked after will last many years.

I also love much older pieces, if they are unusual, well made & a great design I will offer them for sale. I like to keep pieces as original as possible & will clean & re oil / wax. I convert some to'Hairpin leg' pieces if they have no legs / ugly legs or missing legs. I do NOT allow customers to arrange their own couier as I cannot accept responsibility for the item in transit.
