HINKS No 2 LEVER' TABLE OIL LAMP. With bayonet fitting, cranberry glass Art Nouveau etched design shade, duplex burner, duplex chimney, cut glass font, turned brass column, and black ceramic base.
The burner has a lever snuffer, and a key riser, both in perfect working order. Both wicks present, and both wick winders working easily. The clear glass font has oval depression pattern, and is in excellent condition, bar a few scratches. The chimney is the correct one for the duplex burner.
The shade is a squat ruffled tulip shape, with graduated cranberry colour going to clear, and etched with a classic Art Nouveau design. It has a standard 4 fitter.
The shade has no chips or cracks, but has some cloudy blemishes - photos 3 & 7. The turned brass column is remarkably free of dinks, has a bit of tarnish, and unscrews from the font, and lower down the column. The ceramic base has a blemish - photo 9 - otherwise good.
63cm overall height, 41cm to top of burner. Shade is 13cm tall, 20cm ruffle diameter, 10cm fitter rim diameter.
