Antique Vaseline Opalescent Glass Oil Bracket Lamp Sharks Tooth Christmas Trees

RARE ANTIQUE VASELINE OPALESCENT "SHARK'S TOOTH" KEROSENE/OIL BRACKET LAMP. This rare design is called "Shark's Tooth" in a recent edition of Carwile's. In my earlier edition, he called it "Christmas Trees". To my knowledge, there are only 4 known pieces (not counting this one) with the Shark's Tooth design (2 Rubina Verde smoke shades, a spooner, and a stand lamp). This bracket lamp measures about 4 5/8 wide at the base and has an indentation in the center for the bracket frame.

The antique brass collar has a #1 size opening (7/8 inside diameter). I believe the collar to be original, but it appears to have been recently reattached (sloppily with excess plaster). The glass glows brightly under a black light (see last photo).

You are getting the lamp font only (no burner, chimney, or metal bracket). It's guaranteed to be an original Victorian-era bracket lamp and NOT a modern reproduction.

Condition of this antique oil lamp is EXCELLENT. The glass font is undamaged with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. As I mentioned earlier, the brass collar was reattached with excess plaster showing on the bottom side (see photo). Overall, this antique lamp looks great and displays beautifully.
