Antique Oil Lamp Veritas Brass Centre Draught Burner Cobalt Blue Glass Shade

Elegant antique oil lamp standing 65cm tall overall. The Veritas brass base has a large circular foot and tapering stem with decorative band both top and bottom.

The brass reservoir screws neatly into the base and is fitted with a fully marked Veritas centre draught burner complete with a small amount of wick. The reservoir filler cap is marked "Veritas Lampe". The wick winder turns freely and a 10cm gallery supports a vibrant Cobalt Blue tulip shaped shade which is acid etched with leaves and flowers in the art nouveau manner. Unbranded flat bulge chimney in good condition completes the lamp.
