Antique Oil Lamp Pink Mottled Glass Font Veritas Base Duplex Burner Pink Shade
Pretty Antique Oil Lamp standing 63.5 cm tall overall. The lamp base has a glossy black ceramic plinth with screw fit column and is marked Veritas to the underside. A very pretty font in mottled shades of pink purple and white glass, with a brass base and screw fit collar carries a "Duplex Made in England" burner.
The wick winder and snuffer lever work well, new wicks have been fitted and a lamp gallery and Griffin brand flat bulge chimney are present. The opaque glass shade, possibly later, is faintly quilted and has a pink tinge to the frilled rim.
