Eye catching Large antique banqueting lamp standing an impressive 96cm tall overall. The brass base is formed as a very tall Corinthian column upon a stepped base. The font is cranberry cased milk glass with a claret coloured band around the top and a hand painted floral pattern around the main body. There is a good quality British made Duplex burner with working wick winders, snuffer lever and wick. The lamp has a flat bulge clear glass Globe Brand chimney.
The shade is a very pretty shade of graduating cranberry pink and has been copiously acid etched with a pattern of three and four leafed clovers. The shade is optically ribbed and has a frilled rim. As per my photographs, there has been a repair to a chip in the rim. This is a fairly good repair and quite hard to spot unless you examine it up close.
