Antique Oil Lamp Hinks Duplex Burner Cut Crystal Font Antique Acid Etched Shade

Elegant Antique oil lamp standing 65.5cm tall overall. This beautiful oil lamp is mounted on a brass column with a domed ribbed base and acanthus leaf decorated stem with screw fit top. The large crystal font is permanently affixed to the base, is star cut and has a lugged collar marked "patented" (probably Hinks) and is fitted with a Duplex burner marked "Hink's Patent Duplex" to the black glass wick winders. The wick winders turn freely and new wicks have been fitted. An unbranded flat bulge chimney slots neatly into the burner and a stunning globe shaped antique shade decorated with stylised lilac flowers sits upon the gallery.
