I've collected antique lamps for many years, but now my wife and I have decided to pass some of them on to good people like you. The height of this beautiful, hand painted, antique Gone with the Wind lamp is 18" including chimney, with a globe that is 7 3/4" in diameter. The globe is fortunate to have a factory correct brass ring protecting the 3 opening at the top, most likely original to this lamp. The 4 opening at the base of the globe is in very good original condition, with the exception of one shallow chip, commonly found from usage over the years.

Both the glass globe and base are original to one another. The lamp has been electrified, and works quite well, activated by a switch in the cord. I have found no evidence of chips, cracks, or other damage to the glass base, and the metal is in the same original condition, showing no weak spots, or cracks that I can find.

The 8 1/4 Chimney is in excellent condition, and fits the lamp well. Two small pads underneath the metal footing provide a stable support, and the glass base measures 6" high and 7" wide. Please consider that this lamp is an antique, and by its very nature of being old, is not "dead mint" or perfect.
