It is very rare to find let alone a Pair of Large Doulton OIl Lamps as nice as these. They are marked with all the Doulton marks & the Artist signature Mark V. The Lamps have been electrified some years ago, but not drilled. The wind keys on the burner are Hinks Duplex Patent.
However they are in excellent condition for a 19th Century pair of Oil Lamps. The frames on the bottom are solid brass or bronze one of the two. The China is in pristine shape with no chips, cracks nor repairs. The one burner have something that has come loose & the wick turner hangs down a bit. The Ruffled Shades are all etched glass of the Victorian Era. The lamps stand 25" tall with the chimneys and are aprox 7 1/2" across. Really a spectacular pair & would insure for Double what we are asking.
We are expert packers & will pack them double triple boxed with lots of cushion to arrive safely. We will post more pictures soon. Must see in person to appreciate the beauty of the Artistry of these Antiques.
