Antique Cranberry Glass Oil Lamp Brass Corinthian Column Embossed Pink Font 81cm

Stately and elegant antique oil lamp standing an impressive 81cm tall including chimney. The oil lamp has a weighted brass Corinthian column base with lion mask drop handles and a shell-like medallion around the four sides of the base and there is an ornate topper to the column with a threaded hole to take the font. The font is a pretty dark cranberry fading to light pink cased glass which has been moulded with a charming thistle pattern. A quality British Made duplex burner is fitted that has plenty of wick remaining, retains the buttons which are in good condition and the wick winder itself works well.

The gallery has an unbranded chimney fitted. The lampshade is of a dark cranberry glass with a frilly top and honeycomb embossed pattern. The lampshade is a substantial weight and is of a large size that is perfectly in proportion to the stature of the lamp. There are no damages to the shade apart from a few minor fleabites to the bottom edge.

These are not visible when the shade is in place. Height of lamp shade 24cm.

Base diameter of shade 9.8cm. All components will be individually bubble wrapped and the glass will be separated from the metal parts. The parts will be sent suspended in void fill in an oversized sturdy box.
