Antique Brass Corinthian Column Duplex Oil Lamp, Clear Glass Font Etched Shade

Here we have a beautiful antique brass duplex oil lamp made in England. This stunning lamp features a heavy brass corinthian column base with lions head accents and a twisted, filigree design to the column. With a faceted clear glass font, duplex burner and a lovely scalloped edge, acid etched glass shade that fades from white to light green with fleur-de-lis designs etched. Stands at an impressive 79cm high!

In excellent condition overall for the age, there are some very minor nibbles to the lower rim of the glass shade where it rests on the brass which is quite normal and cannot be seen when assembled. No proper chips or cracks.

The brass has a lovely aged look / patina but could easily be polished up to a shiny brass finish if desired, there is a bit of spotting on the brass just to the bottom edge on one of the four sides (see photos). There is a bit of stubborn residue from the fuel just at the very bottom of the font, would clean out easily after a good soak! All parts are functioning as they should be, no bits missing or jammed up/bent. DOES NOT come with wicks! If you have any questions or problems, feel free to message as we're always happy to help!
